An archive with context
MCP has developed from Mad Cornish Projectionist into the wider Media | Cinema | Projection identity. The Vault is the place for useful material from that history, alongside resources connected to cinema, projection, presentation and technical practice.
The intention is to preserve more than isolated files. Where possible, material should retain the dates, relationships, technical context and memories that help explain why it matters.
The archive structure is in development. Material will be added as it is reviewed, catalogued and ready to be presented with useful context.

Curation before volume
The Vault is not intended to be an unfiltered file dump. A smaller set of well-described material is more useful than a large archive with no explanation, uncertain provenance or broken relationships.
That means the public collection will grow deliberately. The direction is active even while the catalogue itself is still being prepared.
History, clearly separated from current work
Mad Cornish Projectionist is an important part of the story behind MCP. The Vault gives that work a durable home while the main website remains focused on contemporary professional work, current thinking and active development.
Archive material will be dated and described so that an older technical note is not mistaken for current guidance. Where a subject has moved into a live MCP project or data platform, the archive should point forward rather than duplicate it.
